Midnight Sons Henchmen

Thought Process:
Spirits of Vengeance aren’t anything too special, but since they were all about vengeance I figured I would give them the escape mechanic. Meanwhile Next Wave (not to be confused with the awesome hero team) were a bunch of mediocre mercenaries, so I liked the idea of them reducing the cost of other Covert heroes.  With Shards of Lucifer, I based the card off the Vicious Cycle storyline in which Lucifer breaks out of hell thanks to Johnny but shatters into 666 shards. Each one possessed a random person (including Scarecrow), so that’s why the Ambush. But rather than the Skull-like effect where you gain the hero I wanted it to be like you freed the person from the shard and thus they go back in the deck.
